My Mookie has cerebral Ataxia we believe causes instability, buckling front and back paws. Makes it hard for him to walk normally. Sways back and forth like he’s drunk. Wish I could post video of him actually walking with his new limo. But let me tell you A Loyal Companion has litterly saved his life. Only 1.5 years old watching him decline and faced with the hard decision the unthinkable of quality of life for him. Now he can somewhat be a normal dog and walk and run. I can’t thank them enough. As tears run down my face. These ladies bitterly change lives.

Our 15+ year old poodle mix has been losing his strength and mobility in his hind legs. Luckily we found A Loyal Companion. Our little guy is doing pool therapy and he is getting stronger. Even though he'd never swam before, he is really enjoying it, and it's clear he completely adores Kate! She and her staff are very professional and very caring. We are very grateful to have our little guy working with them.

I cannot recommend A Loyal Companion highly enough. Kate and her team were absolutely essential in keeping my 16-year-old Doberman mobile and comfortable up until his very last day. When he began to slow down and experience mobility issues, I brought him to Kate, who worked tirelessly to troubleshoot why he was slipping. She introduced us to fun exercises and drills that helped him stay strong, and her pool therapy sessions were a wonderful way to keep him in shape without stressing his joints. Thanks to Kate’s expert care and dedication, I got to enjoy more time with my beloved companion, knowing he was as comfortable and active as possible. I’m so grateful for everything they did for him—and for me.

Went home with his own Limo to help him walk be stabilized. These ladies littery saved a life. The hard decision of quality of life for him. It has been difficult to come to the unthinkable to be full of life in his head but not being able to act normal. Only 1.5 years old. Now we can say the future looks much brighter for our boy. Thankyou, doesn't even say enough no words are enough. Giving us longer with our sweet boy.

This is an amazing service that my dogs thoroughly enjoyed!

My 2 year old German Shepherd/Golden Retriever Mix LOVES water. She plays in a kitty pool all day in the summer, she loves chasing and biting with water from the hose, and even chases a sprinkler around. She taught her younger brother, a 6 month old Rhodesian Ridgeback Mix, to love water as well. Since we have no access to a large pool, we found out about this place and immediately schedule the first, private swim.

The first session was a bust, because we got there and realized we did not have the appropriate vaccination records for our older dog, Xena. We left upset, unable to swim, but understood that it was about the safety of all the dogs, and decided we would re-schedule. Once we got her records from the vet, we set up the new appointment and had a private swim lesson with the owner.

She was incredibly kind and patient as she helped put both dogs in the swimming vests and engaged them into the pool. Unfortunately, Xena, (our older dog) was too nervous about the new experience to go into the water, but the trainer was patient and kept trying to encourage her with toys and balls. When Xena refused to go past the ramp into the shallow water, she just played fetch with her by throwing the ball onto the platform sides. Our puppy, Apollo, however, loved the water! He went swimming immediately, chasing the ball and running up and down the water ramp. She made sure to teach him to find the ramp to get out, and helped him when it seemed like he was becoming too tired.

Both dogs slept soundly the entire 40 minute ride home, and we will definitely be going back!

I brought my german shepard Guardian here after finding out we would be battling the early onset of DM. Kate was nothing short of amazing on the intake exam. Incredibly knowledgable, personable, and so authentic you felt right at home sitting there. Truly grateful for the service A Loyal Companion provides and their genuine care of mans best friend.
