PLEASE READ BEFORE ENROLLING YOUR CHILD HERE

My son went here for a little over a year (he was 2-3 years old). I removed my son from this school for several reasons: 1. I was being called almost daily the last two weeks of us being there about my child’s behavior. I thought this was strange because he didn’t have these “behavioral problems” before and also he had been there over a year already and I didn’t understand why they suddenly couldn’t handle him. I had just started a new job which they were aware of and they called me on my very first day working to come pick him up and said I had to keep him home for the next few days because he kept getting up from his mat at nap time. 2. My son came home one day and said Mrs. Mimi hit his hand, demonstrated how she did it and everything. I confronted her about it the next day and she said she didn’t “strike” the kids but she would give them a little pat on the hand to redirect them. I told her that is absolutely not ok and the only discipline she should be doing is talking to them or calling me. I thought I had a genuine relationship with Mrs Mimi so I didn’t think she had ill intentions initially but it was very concerning and he was removed the next week. I got a call from the STATE after he was removed saying one of the teachers reported the school for abuse and there was a statement stating that they did in fact witness them striking students on the hands including my son. If I’m not mistaken, the daycare was shut down for several months after this claim. 3.They would record and taunt my son consistently. I was not aware of this until his last week there and when they showed me the recordings they had of him on their personal phones I asked them to please not do that again because I don’t think that’s appropriate and it seemed like he was being antagonized because they would act like they were calling me while recording him and it would make him act out more and cry. And they knew that. However, the very next day after having the conversation they recorded my son again. There were a few other things I noticed like the other kids would have several different arts and crafts projects they were working on and my son would only have one or two things, he started always saying “sorry” about every little thing at home and always thought he was going to be in trouble. On top of that his main teacher had a terrible attitude and was always yelling at them and the center always smelled like old eggs I’m assuming from using old mop water. My son now attends a private Christian school and I literally saw a huge change in his attitude after the first day of him being at his new school. Went to sleep at nap time just fine and I have not been contacted about his behavior at all since he’s been there (he’s been there a little over a year now). Just like he never had any issues at his other daycares, only this one. I feel so bad to this day for not paying attention to the signs. It was convenient because it was right across the street from work, it was black owned and I thought we had a genuine teacher/parent relationship I never would have thought they were over there mistreating my son like that. Please don’t read these comments and think it won’t happen to your child, there were 2 other comments from parents saying their kids were being taunted at this school but I overlooked it because it was convenient and they were nice when I toured the place. I hope they have new teachers that actually want to be there and maybe cameras installed so parents can see what’s really going on. Don’t just pick a place because it’s convenient or cheap, take the time to find a good safe daycare for your kids to be in there are a lot of good options out here. 🙏🏽

Alachateau is a good place to bring your kids. You will definitely receive your money’s worth at this daycare. Very professional and loving staffs. My daughter, Bella sure loves it here and is always happy to go see every one over there every week especially her favorite staff, Ms. Sheila. She comes home with homework’s beautiful class works that I use to beautiful her room and my fridge. They create fun activities for the kids as well. My Bella sure has a lot of fun and speaks really good for her age. Ms. Mimi and Ms. Kristia are absolutely lovely people. As a parent I know first hand that caring for our kids is a lot of work so I can understand it is a lot of work being put into looking into our kids for us. To all the Staffs of Alachateau, i thank you all so kindly for an amazing job. God bless you all.

So as far as location its great. There were a few teachers who were nice and really loved the children. Miss Jossette and another worker whos name I can’t remember were very unprofessional. Jossette would tell my child she was going to call the police on him and accused him of stealing money (which a child gave to him). My son was a little more feminine than the other boys and I feel like they were trying to break his spirit. My children were asked to leave the daycare when they were just being children. There was kids there bullying my children. And no my children are no angels but I make sure one thing they are not are bullies. They do childish things like the next child but they are not mean children (except my youngest sometimes he has a mean streak) by a long shot. It took me a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure that I wasn’t writing from a place of anger. Overall like I said the location is good and they do transport. I wouldn’t recommend them based off them not handling the calling the police on my child situation. Also the adults antagonize kids. Laugh at them when they’re crying. All my kids can attest to this.- Miss Lair

Ala Chateau day care...a place to bring your children for day care. You can bring your children and leave them all day while you are at work or drop them off for a few hours and know that they are in good and safe hands. They staff are safe and knowledgeable about kids and how to look after them. They are well versed in child safety and emergency situations.

Wonderful learning environment for children! My three year old has excelled tremendously since attending this school! They cater to his vegetarian diet with no issues and communicate all his progress through their app!

They never answer their phone so I’m not sure how parents can feel safe dropping off their kids here.
