The day following hurricane Milton we awoke to the largest live oak I’ve know sitting upon my pool enclosure and it shattered or pool plumbing and fencing. The pool was draining fast and we could not access the broken lines due to the ton of tree sitting upon it. Thankfully due to A Better Cut making us a priority even though they had a full schedule they helped us rescue our pool before it collapsed in upon itself as once the tree was off the plumbing, we were able to get in there and cap the pool lines. They took time to help others and returned a couple days later when things slowed down and the ground dried up to move the remaining branches.

It is illegal to leave a pile of tree debris in someone’s yard days before a hurricane. After refusing to remove the debris, I’m incredibly disappointed by the lack of consideration for human lives that could be hurt by this negligence. Don’t waste your time hiring this company.

Johnny and his team are top notch. They do very professional work and leave our yard looking amazing every time. They know their stuff and give us suggestions but never any pressure. Very friendly. We highly recommend them. Also, ask them about their pressure washing service. We have had them pressure wash several times and are very impressed. Great people and great service!!!!!

Johnny and his team have provided quality tree service to our home twice over the last few years.

The first time was to ensure 3 of our trees were cleared for Hurricane season. At the time, one of the palm trees had a nest of baby squirrels bundled together that they gently brought down. We were able to get momma squirrel to reunite with them in another tree ?

This year, Hurricane Debby broke down some big branches to our backyard avocado tree, and our 2 front palm trees were sick (I wasn’t providing the right care to them, guilty as charged). Regardless, the whole crew made sure the avocado tree cleanup and palm tree removals went down without a hitch.

Johnny gave fair estimates for both occasions and was true to his word when it came time to settle.

Any future tree service that will be done for our home, or if our neighbors are looking for great service at a good price, I’m grateful that I know who to call

Johnny and his team kicked butt!! We got totally hosed by a tree service that cut half the our tree, left it sitting in the front yard for three weeks and took our money. We called Johnny and he came out the same day, gave us quote and then first thing the next morning he and his team came out. They were great, they picked everything up from the last guy and cut the tree down. A Better Cut Tree Service is our new go to for our trees!! Thanks guys!!
