I have been a patient at Millbank for just over 3 years and highly recommend this practice.

My medical requests have been met with sensitivity and responsiveness, with overall a high level of efficiency and speed. In fact, sometimes I have spoken to a clinician the same day as the submission of my medical inquiry, despite the lack of emergency. When the practice is busy, they do lean on clinicians outside the practice, and I have found this to be helpful, supportive, and stress relieving. Additionally, my prescription requests are fast.

Given that the wider NHS infrastructure is overwhelmed due to demand of services eclipsing the supply of GPs, I have zero major complaints with Millbank. In this context, I have broadly been impressed and happy with Millbank.

Having looked at some of the more negative reviews in the last couple of years on Google, I think some of these complaints are generic. In fact, over the last 12 months, the vast majority of the reviews are 5 stars. There are folks who have bad days and personally are more/less grumpy. But as a patient, you are well within your right to ask for a different doctor if you don’t like/don’t agree with the advice you were given. This is true for Millbank, but across NHS. It is patient first and I believe Millbank follows this principle as best as it can.

I have been a patient at The MMC for more than 3 years and, following a series of health challenges, I have had frequent interactions with many of the staff.

Amidst an apparently crumbling NHS, this place is a beacon of excellence.

The staff (administrators, managers, GPs) are efficient, kind, thoughtful, and expedient, and the on-line processes (e.g., Patches) modern and functional (never a given in the NHS).

Having sat in the waiting room on occasion -- though never having to loiter for excessive periods -- I have also witnessed a clearly experienced receptionist handle a highly disruptive, unreasonable patient with more thoughtfulness and humanity than most of us could muster.

Thank you The MMC.

I called yesterday with a problem.
Due to bad signal of my phone I couldn’t be reached back.
I got an immediate text requested to come to the clinic
To see Dr.Dee, no appointment made.

It's pity they don't have anyone who is qualified to help Patients with Diabetes Mellitus as patients often don't get diagnosed for years. I believe all GPs in UK should test all their patients for diabetes and have at least one qualified GP or nurse on site who is qualified to support patients with Diabetes as it's really hard for some patients to manage and it's a serious disability under the employment act and it's a life threating disability if not managed correctly. Although the surgery has lots of staff, GPS, a large training team of professionals but none of them are listed as having any qualifications in managing diabetes mellitus or type 1 or type 3 diabetes. People are walking around not realising that they have diabetes mellitus.

I only recently registered with this practice and walked in to see the receptionist , Lucy, as I needed to make an appointment to see a GP. Lucy was most kind and empathetic and even suggested some possible over the counter medicines for my foot pain. In the event, my condition healed itself but a few months later I did have occasion to see Dr.McLaughlin on another matter and I cannot speak too highly of her. The appointment was quickly arranged, her approach was reassuring and friendly and some medication prescribed straightaway which I’m sure will do the trick. Thank goodness for GP surgeries like this in the area. We are blessed! ?
