Would give it negative stars if possible. The ELRC agency is terrible. My family definitely qualifies for help yet they continue to not do their jobs. Been applying since May. Denied because they lose the paperwork. Never respond to calls or emails. Went in person and no one representing the ELRC was there either! Is this a real agency? So now apparently they miscalculated my income and I dont qualify again.If I made what they calculated i wouldnt be applying. Navigate endless phone menus just to get re directed to another imaginary staff member that isnt there either. “Oh Im away from the office so call “Whoever”. I call “Whoever” and that person isnt there either. This agency is a joke. People apply for help for a reason and I cant get a real person to respond via email phone or in person. Better off just taking your child out of daycare. Endless redirecting to imaginary staff

This places sole purpose is to give to the community "those in need" we've lived at the same rental for 7 years. One winter we feel behind on rent and electric, we only asked for the 2 months we were behind and they paid those 2 months and 2 extra. They really care and want to help. They wanted very little proof and was quick to give. They are not greedy like some programs out there. They do a lot of volunteering around Gettysburg to help out.

My electric company enrolled me in this program to make my house energy efficient. this place came out did an “inspection” said i would have certain things like insulation in the attic etc to help me save money on my energy bill. Well to say i am not happy is an understatement, the people were great and friendly except some lady at the office she was very rude when i called about a continuous fan that was installed after i mentioned multiple times i do NOT want this. they have yet to return my phone calls it’s been weeks. my bathroom is freezing because of this fan that has no switch and constantly runs. i heat my house with wood, and all my heat goes up and out of the house. i am beyond frustrated. now due to this i have to spend additional money on a electrician to come out and pull it out.

Donated clothing to the shelter, very happy to be able to give things that will help directly. Tip if you're donating, it's the grey building in the back and you use the community aide box. They verified it does go directly to helping the shelter though.

Amazing staff! Lisa Beaver is so sweet. If you need help go to her. The gleaning ladies are so wonderful in all there hard work to. Thank you to the pantry ladies for there patients with everyone who comes in and out to give a great experience! I want to personally thank you ech and every one of you for making our time tere so welcoming! Thank you Gracie. I greatly appreciate all you and Cara do for so many of us in our community! Very wonderful place and polite staff for 99% of the time I call or go in person. Ive only had one bad experience over the phone, but I'm assuming she was new and just didn't know how to help.
