If I could give this place 0 stars, I would! Unprofessional and rude!! Dr. Nadu Tuakli did not attend us herself but with the few minutes we spent with her front desk was enough to let us know to get the hell out of there! My mother and I were there for her Immigration Medical Exam. First and foremost our appointment was at 2pm and we arrived exactly at 2pm. The door was locked so we knocked at the door and it was opened by an unprofessional Middle Eastern lady, she did not greet us and was terribly rude. She then asks for my mother’s ID but not her insurance. (Something that is commonly done in medical offices) She then shows us the different prices for the exam and tells her ALL of the vaccines need to be taken the day of and it’ll be a cost of $780 for ONLY the vaccines. I tell the first lady that we’ll take some time to consider and call them because we know my mother’s insurance will cover her vaccinations at her primary doctor. Now the other lady decides to speak to us in spanish explaining to my mother that she can take her exam at their office and get her vaccines at her primary doctor. THIS WAS NEVER EXPLAINED AT FIRST! They waited until they heard our conversation in Spanish and then proceeded to say “We usually don’t get patients with insurance for the Immigration Exam so we assumed she’d pay out of pocket”. This office is by far the WORST I have been to. They tried to scam my mother because of a language barrier. Please believe the other 1 star ratings!

Mi madre y yo estábamos allí para su examen médico de inmigración. En primer lugar, nuestra cita era a las 2:00 p. m. y llegamos exactamente a las 2:00 p. m. La puerta estaba cerrada con llave, así que llamamos a la puerta y nos abrió una señora de Oriente Medio poco profesional, no nos saludó y fue terriblemente grosera. Luego, ella le pidió la identificación a mi madre, pero no su seguro (algo que se hace comúnmente en los consultorios médicos). Luego nos muestra los diferentes precios para el examen y le dice que TODAS las vacunas deben administrarse el día del examen y que costará $780 SÓLO por las vacunas. Le digo a la primera dama que nos tomaremos un tiempo para considerarlo y los llamaremos porque sabemos que el seguro de mi madre cubrirá sus vacunas en su médico de cabecera. Ahora la otra señora decide hablarnos en español y le explica a mi madre que puede hacerse el examen en su consultorio y recibir sus vacunas en su médico de cabecera. ¡ESTO NUNCA SE EXPLICÓ AL PRINCIPIO! Esperaron hasta escuchar nuestra conversación en español y luego procedieron a decir: “Normalmente no recibimos pacientes con seguro para el examen de inmigración, así que asumimos que ella pagaría de su bolsillo”. Este consultorio es, por lejos, el PEOR en el que he estado. Intentaron estafar a mi madre debido a una barrera del idioma. ¡Por favor, crean en las otras calificaciones de 1 estrella!

Dr Tuakli who was not my primary care physician at the time of my last hospitalization but received my discharge summary by default, summoned me promptly to her office and counseled me regarding my ailment. Information that was never discussed by my primary care physician at that time.
Her prompt intervention was so impressive, I recommended her to a business partner.

I am leaving this review because I have called countless times. There were actually several things that were unacceptable during my time working with this practice, but I will focus on what brought me here- there is no way to reach the practice in writing.I got charged 75 dollars for an X-ray that cost less than that(50 or 60 dollars) and I was asked to pay via Zelle only. When I asked for receipts they wouldn’t give me one but I kept track of everything electronically. I then got billed for the Xray. I turned in the paperwork that was given to me from the practice at the time of the Xray so that it could be billed to the practice yet here I am months later getting bills. There needs to be a resolution to this problem.

Dr. Tuakli knows exactly what she's doing for her patients. When I came to her I had been to other providers that were very dismissive about my symptoms given my age and my weight. Dr. Tuakli listened to me and set out a plan for me to not only lose weight but to get rid of these postmenopausal symptoms I was having as a result of going into menopause early. To date, I am 20 lbs lighter....my symptoms have improved and I'm much happier with outlook on life.

I have been a patient of Doctor Tuakli for over 10 years. She had been highly recommended by friends and family. I find her to be a very pleasant, intelligent physician who takes time to listen and explain things in a way I can understand. My referrals have been spot on, connecting me with other excellent physicians and practices when needed. The doctors credentials are outstanding. I have never had a problem getting an appointment and rarely have waited more than 15 minutes in the office. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Tuakli was very abusive towards me with her treatment of me. She acted like I needed to give her constant praise for her to do her job. She has misdiagnosed me, when I needed brain surgery, she has refused medication for my high blood pressure, she has ignored my calls, they have lied about communications, I know she changed my medical records to cover her for continuing to treat me for a year for the wrong illness. She has embarrassed me in front of her team and nurse practitioners. One of the last two times I saw her, she insisted on not giving me a proper test for a colonoscopy, she punched me in the arm, and she pushed me. The day she punched me, I reported it to the police department. Because of my medications, it seems like Dr. Tuakli was always trying to provoke and trigger me for her own enjoyment. It was an abusive relationship. Because of my brain injury, I think she made me feel like I was trapped with the things she would say about my medical records. The only time I stood up for myself completely was at the end when she started putting her hands on me. All this talk about mental health support, I have only been gaslit by my own doctor that I tried to trust.

We love that she will often recommend alternative solutions besides traditional medicine such as supplements that can possibly assist in lessening some of the health issues we have faced over the years.
