We hired Cornerstone to remodel our kitchen. What started as a kitchen remodel turned into an entire first floor remodel. We never thought we could create more openness in our existing space, but Lauren, our Cornerstone designer delivered such a thoughtful and meticulous design creating much more efficiency. We are in love with our new kitchen!!

Working with the Cornerstone team was also a breeze. They took the time to answer every question and along the way asked us for input when decisions needed to be made. They were also very respectful of our home and our dog, as they went about the renovations. Our project manager Heath, was our dog’s best friend during the remodel.

Additionally, like any home remodel, you are bound to run into bumps along the way and the Cornerstone team handled them professionally and diligently.

We would use Cornerstone again for future home remodeling and would recommend them to others.

Cornerstone has completed several major projects for us; raising the floor of our sunken living room, installing a hall closet that had been removed, removing a 45 yr old screen porch and replacing it with Trex decking, remodeling our family room to remove a wood burning fireplace, install a wall of beautiful windows and sliding door and install an electric fireplace insert. All electrical, drywall and painting was also completed by Cornerstone. Our house is completely transformed. We are very excited for the kitchen remodel in January.

Completed an extensive search of all remodelers in the Howard County area. Cornerstone website was easily the most informative of all, gave us a great starting point, and led us in the right direction. Cornerstone took it from there and the results were stunning. We hired Cornerstone remodeling for a master bath, kitchen remodel that included new flooring for the entire first floor. The end result is absolutely beautiful.

We truly appreciated the patience and ease of the initial design phase. The bathroom layout was challenging due to the space available. Kyle and Hannah offered multiple designs, met our questions and requests with a positive attitude and provided excellent suggestions. They worked with us until we got it just right.

After the designs were set, the fun part of selecting materials began. What felt overwhelming was made easy and fun with the designer assigned to our project. Hannah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She has an excellent eye for color and space. The end result is a cohesive design that is pulled together with the design elements we chose.

One word of advice for both Cornerstone and future customers, know your appliance selections before ordering cabinets. We weren’t aware of the level of importance of this step. You would think that refrigerators have standard sizes but they don’t. It’s more general. Understanding what a 36” range looks like compared to a 48” range will make a big difference knowing what is then available for counter space and cabinet options. Design changes after cabinets are ordered are nearly impossible.
For us, all appliances were available for delivery in about 3 weeks with the exception of the range, which wasn’t available for 3 months. The kitchen was finished almost a month before the range arrived. Understanding when to place the order is helpful. Cornerstone recommends a local appliance company that is reputable and easy to work with. It took a couple of weeks to work through all of the options and make our choices. We started a little too late and experienced some frustration because of that.

What impressed us most was the quality workmanship, professionalism and respect for our home shown by every Cornerstone employee and also every sub contractor provided for the project. We’ve had other smaller projects in our home and can’t say the same. It’s obvious that Cornerstone has high standards and expectations for anyone they send to their customer’s homes.

The end result for the bathroom, first floor flooring and kitchen is absolutely spectacular. Look at their instagram and you will see. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends and already have.
