Just had left ankle Peroneal tendon repair surgery. Best surgeon in Florida.
I should have left a review after the 1st visit almost 2 years ago because Dr cavins has been exceptional since day 1.
Dr cavins has treated my family specifically my little sister and my grandmother (RIP) and we all feel the same about him. He has the best bedside manner by far and is extremely knowledgeable.
I live in Orlando now but I will always drive to deland for his services. His office staff is exceptional as well, they get you in and out & treated at a high level. Highly recommended you won’t regret.

Dr Cavins has been caring for my father James burkell for more than 3 years and hands down the best podiatrist in voluminous county. His bedside manner is absolutely wonderful. You can tell he takes pride in his work and also takes care of his staff. The front girls are absolutely amazing and the medical staff is even better! I highly recommend if you’re needing a podiatrist or even a surgeon for that matter you need to get in with Dr Cavins. I’m amazed at what he does and the absolute care for his patients is unremarkable! Thank you deland podiatry team for caring for my father as your loved one.

Dr. Cavins is amazing. He is very knowledgeable and personable. He did surgery on my ankle with no complications and has been great at following up with my ankle. We have been patients of Dr Cavins for well over a year and continue to be impressed by the level of care and attention we receive. Diabetes caused my husband to lose a toe and eventually his foot, but Dr Cavins fought hard to save the foot as long as possible. Throughout the entire process of exams, hospitalizations, and surgeries, Cavins patiently kept us well-informed… never in a rush to get in and get out.
The staff at the podiatry office (nurses and admin) are amazing and genuinely caring and supportive. They also keep a well-stocked bowl of candy cleverly hidden behind the counter.
We cannot recommend Dr Cavins and his staff highly enough and we whole-heartedly appreciate everything they’ve done for us. Ken Daniel and Edward Jordan, DeLand.
