My benefits came up for review and the date on the notice for me to turn in information was September 5. My benefits were discontinued on April 1. I went to the office and the wrong date was put on the form it was suppose to be March 5. I received no help. The receptionist was extremely rude. I turned in my information and called back the following week only to receive no call backs and when I finally got through to the same receptionist with the same rude attitude to be informed no one was working in the office and did not know when my case would be looked at. I would understand if this was my fault but they put the wrong date on the form and know I am being treating rudely and unfairly over their error.

I seen some of these reviews and I just wanted to share mine. Ms Resnick and Ms Lopez have been nothing but amazing to me. They cared, were so sweet and understood my situation with no judgement. I just got a new case worker, Ms Johnson. It was a lot to switch over from one case worker to another, and had a few hiccups in the way, but she took care of it very professionally. I was very stressed and very inpatient and she still went out of her way to make sure I was taken care of. I’ve lived in king william so long, everyone is like family. The DSS truly has been nothing but great to me.
