I called 3 times to schedule service, paid $100 in advance, tech no showed x2 then I called back today ( I was scheduled today between 10-11, no show at 11:45) to ask about when the techs were coming. They put me on for late Friday (tomorrow). I scheduled my day around them twice. If this is how they do business it’s pretty sad. I went down and had them put my deposit back on my credit card, had to ask for a receipt. They didn’t seem at all concerned. They were recommended to me, but I will not recommend them to anyone, nor will I buy supplies from them. This was the manager I spoke with

No one came to service my pool this week. As soon as I called I received an email saying Pinch a Penny had just been to my house. I was also told a manager would call me back. No one has called and every time I try to call the store the phone answers and hangs up on me. I can't get anyone to answer the phone or call me back. Tried again today twice no answer. I was told a manager would call me. Can someone please call me, like I was told?

If I could give them a "negative1" I would. They had my pool machine for 1 month and I never received a call from anyone on the status of the repair. Every time I called, they never answered the phone. Used my husband's phone they answered!! When I picked it up Cameron ( i think was his name) could only tell me it was on the "done" shelf. But had no idea if/what was done to it, if anything. Tested it when I got home, and the issue was still there. I feel it was never even looked at!!! I go out of my way to stay local, but I will NEVER return to this location!! Shame on all the employee's for treating a customer like this. CJ, Luke, Brandon (I think) and the manager Josh.

I am disappointed but I feel that I have no choice but to begin using a different pool store. I have used this store for many years. Their computers frequently don't work and for weeks now, their computers have been completely down. There is no way to log my water tests into their system without a working computer. I need a log of water tests for my pool surface warranty. They have made no effort to get a working computer and frankly, act like they hate logging the tests in the computer (when the computer does work).

Have been with this store for a while and have had good service. It has tanked over the past months with staff saying they would come to diagnose heater problems (promised to come three times and did not, no call). Now weekly service has my pool green with stain. When I finally caught the worker he answered he hadn’t been adding any salt and that his testing system is broken so he’s just been shocking every week. That’s NOT how the system works! I immediately told him to leave and went to the store. I asked for at least a month’s refund and was told I got it, we will see. I asked for Ryan, the owner, to call me, but doubt he will. I have paid them to do weekly service and they are not. Very dishonest! Sad when this happens to local businesses. Beware! We will look elsewhere!

Third time they want double or more for parts that Amazon had next day. We try to sort local but they tend to be WAY over the top for parts. Supplies they are great with. Service is mediocre. Hate seeing what used to be a great place to shop go downhill.
Even the local Leslie store was 64% cheaper.
