I had the pleasure of speaking to a representative here. I am on the health committee for our local NAACP. We are planning an awareness program to educate our black community on Sickle Cell disease/trait. Quannecia was VERY helpful and professional with her information. Even though we’re 4 hours away, she’s still willing to come and speak to educate our community and provide literature and they be a resource facility to help our Community. That speaks volumes. I tried reaching the Marc Thomas foundation in Dallas and Ft Worth. The numbers online aren’t working. Called the Austin number and left a message but no response. Again, I was very pleased with my initial encounter and look forward to working with this organization.

Please do not listen to the negative reviews. The owner of this organization has been an advocate for Sickle Cell Disease for years. Ensure that you understand it is a small, non-profit, local organization and they the absolute best they can with the resources available.

I asked for help with a bill , afterwards I could not contact anyone in that office on Market Street. I have a son age 14 , a warrior with sickle cell ss. I wouldn't recommend an enemy . The only Foundation that I've found to be true is the Marc Thomas's Foundation

Did they skip town with the money again? There's no way to contact them and they've barely been active despite receiving more funding.
