I love this place. The Community Action Council of Thurston County has helped me so much when I needed help. Their staff is there because each employee truly wants to help people. I have never had a problem with this place, ever. You MUST be persistent if you want an "energy assistance" appt.

Appointments for assistance are difficult to get. The need for Community Action Council's services exceeds their capacity. It is stressful to wait weeks for more appointments to be made available. You'll need to get online immediately when they do and attempt to get one. My advice is to keep trying. Don't give up. The assistance they are likely able to provide to you is well worth your time and effort.

I recently attended an energy assistance appointment at Community Action Council. Everyone we met there was welcoming and extremely knowledgeable. It was evident they are doing everything they can to streamline the process for their clients.

There is such a huge need in our community for the services Community Action Council provides. I was truly impressed with their operation. The wait is long, but the overall process is surprisingly quick and efficient given the financial constraints they are working under.

If you need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to Community Action Council. They are good people.

The people at CAC are so amazing! They have helped my family in many ways and I cannot begin to express my gratitude! They offer rental assistance programs, assistance with utilities and so many other (extremely valuable) resources. Everyone I have had any line of communication with here has been kind, understanding and compassionate. It's rare to find these kinds of resources AND be met with respect and given a sense of dignity. It's nice to talk to folks that seem to genuinely care about both their job and helping the community. Thank you to everyone at the community action council! ❤️
