So if you are looking for a vet, stop looking, you have found them. The people here are amazing. If I had nothing more to go on than the reaction of my pup every time we went there, I almost couldn't hold him back from going inside. They helped me through some really tough times with him with sickness and health problems. In the end, when I had to have him put down, they were there for me and helped me through every step, even helping me set up his cremation. A few days later, I got a card with condolences from some of the staff and 2 footprints. Thank y'all for being such good people. I will always recommend you to anyone who asks.

The best vet!! They have day camp, which my mutt LOVES, and are very trustworthy for boarding. I always feel comfortable leaving my pup overnight. I’ve used this place for about 5 years and they’ve seen two of my dogs and my even my feline. The staff are always so kind!! Thank you A-Animal for all you do for my pup!

Terrible boarding experience -- Have taken him here for 3 years since I got him and with this latest boarding appointment, I can say the quality of care has declined largely since then.

Cat's 4 day-3 night stay went less than stellar, in which a vet had reached out after the first day and stated he didn't take too kindly to handling, and the necessary vaccines hadn't been administered, so some medicine would be mixed into to his food to help him relax. Ok fine, I didn't hear anything for the next couple days, so I thought it was ok.

The day before I come back home (I am on the other side of the country) I receive a call from a technician that says, "we are very concerned about your cat he hasn't eaten in 3 days." Needless to say I am exceptionally concerned -- not sure what I can do, nor why the VET cannot handle this?

Finally, I came to pick him up the next day and asked for management to call me upon my check out to voice my concerns about this experience that had been stressful both to me and the cat. A few days later, the front desk girl texts back to say she talked to the manager and there's nothing they can do. I don't expect a free boarding experience, but I have been a customer of here for 3 years, and having to communicate through the front desk worker instead of calling me directly is unfortunate to say the least.

While I understand the vet cannot control how a cat acts, the problem was how it was handled, which to me was unacceptable. Had I been out of town a week or more -- would his health and wellbeing would've gotten worse? What were the next steps? He never got the vaccines for his stay either -- were they that important? Should I be concerned he didn't receive them? By calling me to say they were "extremely worried about him", was completely disheartening to hear from a vet, and managed to derail my holiday visit. Do better A-Animal.

Hands down best grooming my Australian Shepard has ever had! They are super friendly, Todd the groomer is the best! My puppy Luke had a terrible experience at another groomer here in Fort Worth where he was left with a Mohawk down his back. I was very scared to bring him to another groomer and even thought about just doing it myself. I asked one of the good friends where he took his 2 dogs (they always look amazing) and he recommended A-Animal Clinic. I made the right choice for sure, Luke will only be getting groomed here going forward. The care, kindness and skill are 10/10. Thank you for making my fur baby look fabulous!

I have had my dog with A animal for his whole life. Recently - the company got bought by a “national firm.” All of our vets left. The should have warned me.

At my last visit, with our new doctor…she came in and could have cared less about what I had to say. I had a lot of info about my dogs treatment and past that she needed to hear…but she didn’t want to hear it.

Fast forward to today. My dog has had a rough week. He is elderly, and this is a tough time. I understand that. I told the vet tech about our past week and the doctors came in.

Initially - she recommended a blood work and an x ray. She tried to take blood from his neck, which is insane. When he clearly objected, they said well then we will take from his arm. Of course my question was - why wasn’t that option 1?

Then the vet tech felt his stomach as we held him down. She said “this doesn’t feel right doctor.” The doctor THEN looked at it and said “yeah that is a tumor mass and it is almost certainly cancer and we need to talk about putting him down.”

Mind you - she hadn’t done and x ray, hadn’t done blood work, had not done anything but feel his stomach after her vet tech noticed it and within 2 minutes she was suggesting my dog be out to sleep.

I said we were not going to be doing that today. She gave me options of blood work and x rays, or just one of them. I chose x rays.

They told me they would give him a pain killer so they could x ray him well. They didn’t explain that they would also be giving him a sedative. He is 12 years old. He didn’t need to be sedated for an x ray.

I didn’t fully understand until they had done it that they had sedated him, and he was out like a light. They went and did the x ray, and came back and said “oh it isn’t a tumor, his bladder is so overfilled that it looks that way, so we released it but he will still probably not make it because it’s neurological.”

Mind you - ten minutes ago she was suggesting I put my baby down because of a cancerous tumor, now they have another reason why he wasn’t gonna live long.

As the doctor left the room when they had returned my dog on a stretcher- the doctor said to the vet tech “make sure he doesn’t stop breathing.”

I was irate. I laid with my baby while his eyes were rolled back and pleaded for him to wake up. I had no idea this stupid x ray, performed by an incompetent staff, could have resulted in him not waking up.

After 10 min of torture, he finally woke. They then left us there in the room for ten minutes while my boy was laying in his own urine, and eventually he started to cry. He actually stood up on his own, and insisted that we leave the room. We did. I told the front desk that my dog had been laying in his own urine on the stretcher for ten minutes, and we were going to my car.

I got him in the car and turned on the AC. I returned to hear whatever the “diagnosis” was, but I didn’t want to hear one more word from this crass doctor who didn’t have a clue and seemed all too eager to put my dog down.

This was one of the worst cases of incompetence I have ever seen. This clinic was wonderful when Dr Karen Spikes and Dr Brown were there and it was local owned. Now it is the worst place you can go.

We barely survived it. The vibes are awful, and the competence is worse. I will never ever take my baby boy back there. I believe her name wan Dr Caughlin. She was one of the worst professionals o have ever dealt with in my entire life. Completely incompetent and showed no reservations about making a quick decision about putting my dog down and diagnosing him with cancer with zero facts or tests.

Do not go to this vet. For your pet’s sake, do not walk on their doors
