Dr. Lawrence is great dentist and he is a very nice man. I have been going to him for years and I have become accustomed to receiving high levels of service here. I have read some of the folks reviews who rated him one-star. One person didn't have insurance and the other seemed disappointed that he only saw Dr. Lawrence for 30 seconds. To me that is not a fair assessment. My ex wife has thousands of dollars worth of work from Dr. Lawrence and he fixed my diastema. I'd say if you don't see him much then your teeth are in good shape and you should be thankful. On the other hand if he finds something wrong or you need some work done then you'll see him a lot. And, if that is the case then you are fortunate because he is very experienced and does excellent work. Dr. Lawrence's staff really seems to like him and most of them have worked there for years. I don't often see new faces there when I visit every six months.

Dr. Lawrence is a nervous patient’s best friend and am surprised to see he was only rated 4 stars. I have psychological problems due to my first childhood doctor and have only found two dentists in my 34 years they understand and take that problem into consideration. The second doctor was Dr. Lawrence and have had him as my DDS for 12 years! I highly recommend this dentist and would question anybody who thought any different of his character than what I described. All you parents out there that have kids who are nervous to go to the dentist need to consider this doctor because he is totally appropriate for a first timer that is scared to death of tools having to go in their mouth. This is one review I am very passionate about!!!

I have been going to Dr Lawrence for many years. There was a lapse in me going in to do preventive care - my fault. When I returned to their office, the dental tech did very well in cleaning my teeth and Dr Lawrence came in to do an exam and reached out to me about a couple of issues. Even after a bad issue in the past with a different dentist, Dr Lawrence was able to numb the tooth that needed fixed - and it did not even hurt even with the numbing. He came back into the room and did the necessary drilling and took a little time out between the drillings. He eventually got the job done. I had taken a Klonopin before leaving to go to the appointment - and it worked well. Dr Lawrence is excellent and I am willing to refer him to anyone that needs dental work. Thanks Dr Lawrence for your compassionate care today. That means a lot to me.

Larry has given me 100's of shots in my mouth and they have all been comfortable! As a patient for 30 years, I know Larry is most concerned about comfort while being honest about treatment. And he is the BEST at matching color! He and his staff are my friends!

I was referred by a fantastic oral surgeon that I didn't think that I had any concern at all. My first apprehension was they hounded me, literally texted, phoned and e-mailed me about my initial appointment, even after I had responded that I was coming. Then, when I got there, everything was about what insurance I had. After the hounding to confirm and calls to be sure I filled out all the paperwork for the insurance, I had my teeth cleaned, had an x-ray and the doctor examined my teeth, of which most had already been done by my oral surgeon.

They imeadiately scheduled me for an appointment in less than a week to "work-up" a crown. This was a chipped tooth and I already had two missing teeth that just needed a crown to be attached to the post that the oral surgeon had prepared. I wanted the missing teeth filled first but they didn't want to do that. They wanted to "work up" a new tooth that was the least of my concern. The charge was $1,400.00 for a crown, almost double the $750.00 a friend recently paid for the same thing. Rip-off!

They didn't bill me because they couldn't get the correct insurance information, and said they would let me know on the next appointment because cleaning is usually no charge along with the X-ray and exam.

The office started with the hounding for information first thing on Monday. Am I coming? What did I find out about insurance? Am I going to get insurance if I don't have it through my health insurance? When they found out I didn't have insurance unless it was due to an accident, it was like no more interest. I said I hadn't received a check from a client from my business, and didn't want to have them charge me a huge fee if I didn't have the cash yet. And here they had a block of time scheduled for a work-up and canceled my appointment "until further notice", like I was an indigent patient - cash only, and prepayment required.

And I got an absolutely horribly high bill for cleaning X-ray and exam. Almost $400, $387.00 to be exact and $200.00 higher than the average fee for service in the local area and $7.00 higher than the highest on record. All for a 30 minute cleaning routine by a dental assistant, and a 15 minute rehash of their fees for implants, which was also suspected to be way above the average charged by local dentists.

There are tons of dentists giving the exam, cleaning and x-rays for $49.00 but to charge almost $400.00 when you have thousands of dollars of work needed is absurd! And a super good way to get a terrible rating and it's a good thing my oral surgeon said if I didn't like them, he'd pay the fee for the visit. Probably no one balked at his choice of dentists, but he insisted I go there because they knew the procedure. Now I'm wondering if they are so high for just cleaning, if there isn't a fee splitting arrangement because the oral surgeon did a heck of a lot of work for very little and the flashy dentist is just putting a crown on top of a screw for several thousand dollars.

No one likes paying the highest price on record, especially when they are referred and told they are so sure I'll like them, the oral surgeon will pay the fee if I don't. I feel like I should get the FBY - Fool Born Yesterday Award for getting suckered into paying an outrageous price for basic services. Cleaning is not such a stellar task that gets astronomical fees associated with it. It is manual labor work and the lowest level of professional work in a dental office. Digital technologies have lowered the cost of x rays to pennies, so who do they think they are fooling? Someone who trusted their professional enough not to have to second guess what is going on.

But I get the "Fool Born Yesterday" Award and they get a terrible review and highest price in the market which may make them feel like they are the best, but I don't think so. They are a couple of clowns in their 70's trying to go out of their profession thinking they have hung the moon, which is a good way of getting the lowest rating and maybe turned into the dental board.

Great experience till i was charged more out of pocket for the same procedures performed for my 'insured' father. Also need to add the certified Dr. , Lawrence, spent less than 30 seconds looking at my teeth.
